Historical River Tours

Let us be your guide to rafting and other activities in historic Harpers Ferry, West Virginia, cradle of the American Civil War. Located just one hour west of the DC/Baltimore area! We are a small, locally based, family owned river outfitter with a passion for the rich Civil War history of the tri-state area. Our family has been running commercial river trips for more than twenty-five years now in West Virginia. Your safety is our number one concern; we hope that you will take comfort in our solid background and years of experience. The Shenandoah is a fun, exciting and beautiful river with an abundance of both wildlife and wildwater!

This is an incredibly beautiful whitewater trip teeming with wildlife and plenty of rapids. Personal attention is provided by guide staff. All guides are trained to be knowledgeable in the rich past of the historic Harpers Ferry tri-State area. You will see much of it only from the river. Our 3 1/2 hour trips, usually with lunch, are fantastic! For the more adventuresome, they offer whitewater trips in the ThrillKat or ThrillSeeker singles series as an upgrade to the raft trips. We provide you with an excellent way to see and enjoy the river and wildlife at its best. 12 Class II & III rapids make this a perfect one-day trip. With over 25 years of running commercial whitewater trips in West Virginia, you will feel right at home here. Open April 1 through October 31 each year. Reservations begin January 1 each year. Groups of 12 or more qualify for a special group rate.
